The good news is I can now confidently announce, HCC is open to full service from the Sunday 6th 2020, Thanksgiving Service! Going forward, it will be Online and In-person Service every Sunday Service times.

As you know, since the 5th July when the Government issued guidelines for Church to resume, HCC Service Continuity Team and the HCC Ministers both in Kemp Road and Basildon resumed In person Service on Sundays as forerunners, spending time after the 1-hr services to put in place operational processes for future Service deliverables – in line with new normal.

I am also pleased to inform you that our online Service and interactions are here to stay for those who prefer to remain at home during this time – infact, we have introduced new Online Community engagement Service which comes at 9.50am and straight after the Main Service at 11:15am.

So, as you prepare to come BACK to church for IN-PERSON experience, here’s What YOU can do – and What the church is doing before, during, and after each worship service to ensure the comfort and safety of our congregation and guests.

Providing Accurate Digital Thermometers
To reassure you that everyone seated around you is well checked, the Host Team & qualified medical personnel will be at the entrance to check temperatures of everyone before coming into the building.

If anyone is found with a high temperature, they will be provided a place in Harmony Clinic for further medical assistance and prayers. There will also be a livestream video link for the Service.

Enable social distancing.
Each branch will take measures to encourage and maintain social distancing. Look for any directions given when you arrive.

Ongoing Church Experience
The Church management is heavily investing in improving communication and IT production qualities in a world that will not turn off – making available the gospel on demand. We also promise stricter vetting of chat platform content so that only vital info gets put on. This is also why we are asking for more experienced hands to come on.

Online Booking
Ensure very effective and smooth online booking software for service users. Our Ushers will confirm your booking Ref and seat you accordingly.

Contact Tracing
We will be assisting the NHS with the test and trace service by keeping a notarised record of all visitors over the past 21 days (compliance with data protection legislation). Seats will be numbered.

How You Can Help
